Hey Alby!! Hey guys!

I actually watched les stroud and bear grills and ray mears whithout knowing that alby existed. than somehow i googled my surname and guess what, i am named mangels too and so i found alby, and then i realized he already did all the things i want to do too... i am from germany and i will go to new zealand in december.. what happens afterwards is not planed yet.. but maybe costa rica or something in midle - south america... i just want to see the nature as long as it exist and protect it where i can!!

Hi Fabian, congratulations on the trip and your plans, you must be excited! Yes, Alby was a real adventurer when Bear Grills and other TV "personalities" were peeing in their diapers. Even with producers, directors, assistants and staying in luxury hotels after shooting at night with a multi-million budget, people like that can't even touch what Alby and John did with the DAF and no pocket money. I really wish more people knew about Alby because he'd surely have more fans. I fell in love with what he was doing before I saw two minutes of the first episode of Adventure Bound! :)
